The famous Trevi Fountain is known to everyone, but the underground path that extends under the Trevi district is less well known. The underground archaeological area of the Vicus Caprarius - the City of Water - is part of this intricate maze of ancient remains: the structures of a domus from the imperial era, the castellum aquae of the Virgin Aqueduct and the suggestive finds (including the famous face of Alessandro helios) which came to light during the renovation works of the former Cinema Trevi.
