Built thanks to the Medici commissions of Cosimo the Elder, rich in treasures such as the frescoes and paintings by Beato Angelico (who was Prior of the Convent) and the architecture of Michelozzo. It also preserves a small part of sculptural and architectural pieces belonging to the ancient center of Florence, a cenacle by Domenico del Ghirlandaio, frescoes by Poccetti, the library wing by Michelozzo and the cells of Cosimo the Elder and Girolamo Savonarola.
